Team Leader – Complex Needs Services

We are looking for highly motivated, professional, passionate, creative, and dedicated team leader to join our Complex Needs Services. The Complex Needs Services supports adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs.

We are a small provider of high-quality care services based in rural Lincolnshire. We support people with Autism, Learning Disability, Mental Health, behaviour that can challenge and other complex needs in our Complex Needs Services in Fleet Hargate. 

The primary role of a Team Leader is to support the Service Manager to oversee and lead a team of staff within the Complex Needs Services. To provide a customer-focused, high quality service for people with a Learning Disability. You will implement the standards of care and support as directed by the Service Manager, ensuring that you manage and oversee the quality of services in your day-to-day role. 

The services work flexibly over a 7-day period to meet the needs of people. The services operate a rolling rota. A typical early shift would be 07:30-16:00 and a late shift 15:30-22:00. You will work a combination of early and late shifts as agreed with the Service Manager. You will be required to take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota. You will lead a team of staff to ensure that they provide a high-quality service provision. You will ensure that the aims and objectives of the Complex Needs Services are always met and to undertake direct or indirect care for people who use the service. 

Our aim is to enable every person using our services to have positive experiences and progress according to their individual abilities. The desired outcome is for people to gain increased levels of independence to maximise their strengths, abilities and ambitions.

Who We’re Looking for:


• A Team Leader to promote and ensure the highest standards of care and support for people who use the Complex Needs Services.  


• A Team Leader to assist in the delivery of people’s care and support by engaging in tasks as delegated by the Service Manager or as indicated by the persons’ individual care plan.


• To communication effectively with people, professionals thus promoting a good working relationship within the team and the community.


• To respect people’s, customs, values, culture, religious and spiritual beliefs, always acting in an empowering manner that promotes people’s dignity, rights, independence, and choice.


• To administer medication in line with the Care Plan and Pearl Healthcare Policies and Procedures.


• To act in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act (2008) Regulated Activities Regulations (2014)

Dedicated to practice levels of excellence, we offer candidates specialist training in the field of Learning Disability, a programme that is overseen directly by our Challenging Behaviour Specialist in areas such as Specialist Communication Strategies, Autism , Active Support in Learning Disability, Intensive Interaction, Person Centred Planning, Record Keeping, Positive Behaviour Support, Mental Health and Physical Intervention and De-escalation Training.

 

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Support Worker – Complex Needs Services

We are looking for passionate, professional and dedicated employees to work with adults with autistic spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour in our Complex Needs Services.

 

We are a small provider of high quality care services based in rural Lincolnshire. We support people with Autism, Learning Disability, Mental Health and complex needs in our services in Fleet Hargate.

 

As a member of our care team, you will strive to bring out the best in every person by supporting and guiding them in their daily lives. This could be in the form of helping the person undertake daily living skills, learning or developing abilities for independent living or accompanying them to take part in an activity.

 

The services operate shifts such an early shift would be 07:30-16:00 and a late shift 15:30-22:00. You will work a combination of early and late shifts as assigned by the Service Manager.

What We’re Looking for:

  • Professionals who are patient, sociable and empathetic, in order to establish good relationships with the people you will support based on confidence, trust, understanding and mutual respect.

  • Prepared to support people with challenging behaviour which may be exhibited by the people we support at any time for any number of reasons.

  • Willing to assist in service tasks such as cleaning in order to maintain the high level of cleanliness expected within people’s homes.
